Brief Hiatus

Until my home lifts itself from the chaos into which its been plunged, this blog will be on hiatus. I will be back,  hopefully soon, but for the moment I'm more concerned with how I'm going to explain whats happening here in Boston to my children than I am with what I or anyone else may be wearing. I appreciate your patience in this matter.

My thoughts and prayers are with/for the people of Boston - and especially those like you whom I've come to "know".

I KNOW you'll provide the security and just the right amount of information to help your children remain happy and feel safe in your care.

How very sad.

This is everyday life in many, many countries in our world. Rest assured that parents in Iraq and Afghanistan don't feel the need to explain to their children what's happening. Let's hope that we never come to that point.

Thanks to the Nazis, the IRA and other more recent people-haters, we also know rather too well about this kind of awful situation over here in England.

The best riposte is Keep Calm and Carry On. Try to keep to your usual routines as far as possible, otherwise the b------s think they win.

Sent you a note on FB...hoping you guys were okay. So dreadful. I agree with Nick~~keep things as normal as possible and set the example as Mom & Dad of keeping calm. Best to your family,
Michelle

This story about a quote from Mr. Rogers seems a very logical way to explain the situation to your children. Only a suggestion, sir. Good luck.
